Global Tax & Governance Stream
Global Tax & Governance Stream
BACKGROUND
In response to an increasing interest of our students to know more about tax and governance issues as well as the profession’s desire to have more accounting graduates who are better versed in these areas, a new Global Tax and Governance (GTG) stream has been offered since 2016-17. Students who specialized in the GTG stream are entitled to the maximum paper exemptions in taking the Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualifying examination offered by the Taxation Institute of Hong Kong (TIHK). As a result, students can acquire the CTA qualification by completing Paper 3 and 5 only.

Being a reliable tax consultant which the clients consider valuable and essential to their business, one is required to think out of the box, yet exercise due diligence in their course of work. We need to walk through with our clients in the whole tax life cycle, from preventive planning to compliance filing, and finally position defensing. With all the confidence and trust placed in you by your clients, that would be the best part of the profession.

To achieve this, we work extremely hard to equip ourselves with the latest knowledge of the ever-changing tax environment and collaborate with various specialists worldwide.
